Just Like a Fairytale

Sometimes love comes with a coincidence, a sudden gift at a sudden moment that changes every aspect of our life. And sometimes it’s nothing but an instant recognition, a sheer feeling that rushes blood into our veins, or even causes a premature ventricular contraction “our heart skipping a beat”.  It might be a total illusion that we believe in its existence. A fairytale that we were never told.

Love doesn’t seem to follow a certain plan; it’s not a series of steps or actions. It can hit with the force of nature - an earthquake, a tidal wave, a storm of wild, relentless energy that is beyond our simple attempts of controlling it. And it might be for a total stranger we’ve just met, for a lifelong friend that we’ve just realized how close they’ve been, or for an imaginary person that we’re still waiting for.   

  

Some people will say that you can’t really love someone you don’t know. But who knows…? Love makes wonders.
